NVIDIA and Partners Build in America, for America
NVIDIA and partners announced U.S. AI manufacturing expansion, with Wistron's Fort Worth plant producing GB300 superchips and up to $500 billion in planned output.
- Wistron's 324,000-square-foot Fort Worth plant is producing the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip and preparing to produce the NVIDIA Vera Rubin Superchip.
- The U.S. advanced manufacturing commitment totals $700 million, with 500 jobs now and 1,000 expected by the end of the year.
- Coherent broke ground in Sherman, Texas, on a 6-inch indium phosphide fab expected to create 1,000 jobs.
- NVIDIA plans to produce up to $500 billion of AI infrastructure in the U.S. with TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Corning, Lumentum, Coherent and Amkor.
U.S. AI infrastructure supply chains now have domestic production sites for AI systems and chips, creating thousands of manufacturing jobs.
